Zane's Bio - a good man… a great man… a guitar man…

Mr Hughes was born into a very musical family. His father was the guitar playing front man in the 4 piece grunge band Contact. It was growing up submerged in this rock culture that Zane found his appreciation for everything loud. The foundation of Hughes's sound was formed during early childhood with endless car-ride karaoke’s, spontaneous living room jams, and whatever his cooler older brothers were blaring through the bedroom speakers. It was from this that Classic Rock and Punk outfits such as The Living End, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, etc. quickly established themselves as top picks on Zane's long list of influences. The Hughes household was never a quiet one, whether it be the loud smashing of drums or practicing guitar midily-midily’s, sound and music have always played a part in daily living. Gill's Bio - The Birth of a Bass Player

It was the year of 2006 and a young boy named Gill heard his sister playing piano before school. Gill listened and got jealous as he wanted to play piano also. He begged his mum to let him start learning an instrument. It was that year that he started playing piano but later on that year he discovered the drums. Fast-forward to 2012 and he has used those skills and knowledge and applied himself to learning the bass guitar and it consumed him. Time has moved on and Gill now finds himself making music with the members of Sounds Tusail. The journey wasn’t that simple though. Throughout this journey Gill has been in many bands. One of which is the Shake It Up bigband where he played the trombone. This was back when he was 10. Years have continued to fly past and he is now in Grade 11 music with very basic bass skills. Update - With Sounds Tusail

Hey Guys! Our 3/4 of day practice last week was smooth sailing once again. Sounds Tusail is practicing very hard, putting together a groovy setlist for all you fans coming to watch us at Solbar. The countdown begins with only 5 weeks to go, until performance. On other news, Sounds Tusail is having a 2 week break from band practice, coming up next week. But will open up the sails again when we return back from our short break. We are all so excited to perform for you all. - Jesse x
